I've had fun with this stamp before, and I was all ready to do something similar when a shaker card came to mind. I couldn't ignore the impulse. :) A circle die fit the balloon perfectly...and a shaker was born.
I goofed right in the middle and realized I'd almost assembled the whole card but forgot the transparency layer. Whoops! Thankfully my adhesive cooperated and let me peel everything apart and tuck the layer inside.
My chief color consultant (aka my oldest daughter) encouraged me to include all kinds of colors inside the shaker. I wasn't too sure until I turned it over and saw it all together for the first time - and she was right! The different colors and shapes just fit the birthday theme.
