Watercolor Flowers - Inspired by Online Card Classes

I finally couldn't resist any longer and signed up for the latest Online Card Class offering called "Watercolor for Cardmakers Exploring Mediums".  I've never taken one of these classes before, and the format was really neat.  I loved the in-depth videos and especially the descriptions of papers.  Kristina's no-line watercolor video was awesome.  I want to try that soon!

I wanted to make a card for a special lady who's in rehab right now recovering from surgery.  She's a prayer warrior and I want to be sure she knows she's being prayed for!  I pulled out my white embossing powder and watercolor pencils and created this:



These pencils are just the Michael's brand but I've always loved the colors and how they work.  I used a brush to pencil tip method to add color.

And here's the finished card:


Love those watercolors!
