Life has been a blur lately, with school events and graduation topping the list. Good reasons to be busy, right? Here are a couple of pictures of things made around here lately:
These mini cupcakes (all 150 +) were made for a school fundraiser event. Just to show off, God graciously multiplied my icing (and time) to cover them all. It was iffy for a while, and time just wouldn't have allowed me to make more icing....so He kindly stretched it out like the loaves and fishes. Just more sugary. Don't tell me God doesn't care about little things - I know He does.
Oh, and on this same day I was so overloaded and brain-missing (yes, I've read Uglies) that I put my wallet in the trash can. Who knows why. I didn't throw it away; I carefully placed it in the trash can and then laid a magazine on top of it. Without God leading me to the wallet, it would be in a landfill by now, 'cause I'd never have seen it with the magazine on top. Another answered prayer.
(Don't judge me - I know you've put your wallet in the trash can too. Or maybe the freezer.)
This little lovely was drawn by my daughter for an art contest. Don't know why it didn't win - but it won in my book. That girl's got talent. I've cried over her drawings before. (She just doesn't get that, but all the moms out there totally understand.)
My heart and prayers go out to those devastated in Oklahoma...may God give you the peace and comfort that only He can.
