I think my previous goal of sewing up all my quilt fabric stash was a bit ambitious. In the end, I made 8 quilts by the deadline. There's probably fabric for 8 more in my closet...but only lining for 2 or 3. I guess I'll be forced to head to the fabric store.
Oh, what a sacrifice. But I'm dedicated enough to make it.
I also have some odds and ends fabric lengths that have nothing to match them - only enough for one side of a quilt. Hmmm....maybe a bit more sacrifice is in order.
Now I can get busy on a dress for my dear daughter that she's been dying for me to make. It definitely won't be as easy as one of these quilts, but making it for her will be fun. I love having her be so excited over me sewing something for her. It makes my mom heart happy.
Is there anything special sending you to the fabric store?
