Faux Metal Case

When I saw this post from Jennifer McGuire I couldn't wait to give her technique a try.  I have some Perfect Pearls powder I picked up on clearance, so I used the gold color for my card over some Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean distress inks.

I don't have very many word dies to use for a sentiment like Jennifer did, so I used a Paper Smooches stamp.  I tucked it in the corner because I didn't want to cover up too much of the lovely "faux metal" part.  I really don't think metal when I see this, but it sure is pretty.
