Shaker Case

I love getting inspiration from the best!

When I saw this post from Kristina Werner, I couldn't wait to give it a try.  Shakers are my new favorite, and this method of sewing a pocket for the shaker bits seemed like it might work well.

It did!  The sequins inside move around a lot more than I expected them too.  When I got the card signed, addressed and sealed up in it's envelope, I could hear everything rattling around inside.  I think that will be a fun sound for the recipient to hear when they pull it out of the mailbox!

Kristina's video also gave tips for the watercolored background that I'd never tried.  Putting the colors down in layers makes a much prettier background.

This is officially my new favorite way to assemble a shaker card. Love it!
