Have you see the chalkboard technique around? The whole concept is beautiful...pretty fonts and meaningful words all together in an artistic and/or whimsical way. To top it off, it seemed fairly easy to do. Thankfully, this technique didn't disappoint. Being able to meld this into our Christmas card this year just makes my heart happy.
The whole arrangement will probably shift around a bit from card to card. Some of the stamps are rubber, some cling, so I couldn't mount them all together for easier, all-at-once stamping. A few of these sentiments have been used on past year's cards, but I love them and the meaning they convey.
Jesus came as a baby to save His people from their sin. Now there's a reason to celebrate.
This will also be easy to produce assembly line style. I plan to do all the embossing at once, then all the inking, then fussy cutting and adhering. I'm loving this white pigment ink, now that I know what to do with it. All I ever used to do with pigment inks was smear them around. :)
Do you mail Christmas cards? Are they handmade? What assembly tricks do you have to make the process easier?
